Our dogs sleep on the couch, follow the kids around the yard, and get along with everyone — including the cats. When a litter arrives, it grows up right here in the middle of all of it.
Expecting — puppies due early August 2026
The litter
Coco and Benjii are expecting, with puppies due the first week of August 2026. Puppies go home at eight weeks — around the beginning of October.
The waitlist is open now. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing — it just means we contact you first when the puppies arrive.

All three live in the house with us. You are welcome to come meet them before you decide anything.
Mother of the expected litter
Coco is the friendliest dog in the house, which is saying something. She greets everyone at the door, tolerates the cats walking over her, and has never met a person she did not immediately trust.
Father of the expected litter
Benjii is all enthusiasm. He is the first to the door, the first into the yard, and the first to flop over for attention from anyone willing to give it.
Coco's sister
Mocha and Coco are sisters out of the same litter, and they have never really spent a day apart since. Mocha raised our last litter and still supervises everything that happens in this house.
In our home
Everything happens in our home. Puppies are whelped indoors, handled from the first days, and grow up surrounded by ordinary household noise — kids, a vacuum, the doorbell, three cats who are entirely unimpressed by any of it.
No outbuilding, no kennel run. Our puppies grow up underfoot, which is the whole point.
Our kids are part of this. Puppies are picked up, held, and talked to from the beginning, so going home to a new family is not a shock.
Our dogs live with three cats and each other. Puppies see all of it before they ever leave.
Come meet the parents before you decide. We would rather you drive out and see the house than take our word for anything.
That is genuinely the whole thing. These are our family pets first, and the puppies they have are going to be somebody else’s family for the next twelve years. We would rather take longer to find the right homes than move a litter quickly.

Mocha — Coco's littermate sister — gave us a litter of chocolate puppies with Goose, and every one of them went to a family we picked ourselves. If you want a sense of how our puppies turn out, this is the closest thing to it. A few of them are below.

Benjii is AKC registered. Coco is a purebred Labrador and we have a DNA test confirming it, but we no longer have her registration paperwork — so we are not advertising this litter as AKC registerable. We are happy to show you both the DNA result and Benjii's papers when you visit.
No. Benjii comes from a completely separate bloodline with no relation to our dogs. Coco and Mocha are littermate sisters, but Mocha is not part of this litter.
York, Pennsylvania. Puppies are picked up in person so you can meet everyone and see where they were raised.
Coco is chocolate and Benjii is black, but he carries chocolate — so we expect a mix of chocolate and black puppies, roughly half and half. Yellow is possible too, depending on what Coco carries. We never promise a particular colour before the puppies arrive.
Your puppy goes home with their first round of shots completed and a written vaccination record so your own vet can pick the schedule up from there. They will also have been dewormed, and we send a supply of the food they have been eating so you can keep them on it or switch over gradually rather than all at once.
Yes — $300, and we only take it once the puppies are here and you have picked out the one you want. If you change your mind after that, the deposit is not refundable. If something happens on our end and we cannot get you the puppy you chose, you get it back in full. Nothing at all is due before that point, and joining the waitlist itself costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
No, we do not ship. Puppies are picked up in person here in York so you can meet the parents and see where your puppy was raised. We do travel to Northeast Ohio fairly regularly, so if the timing happens to line up we may be able to bring your puppy part of the way — just ask and we will see what we can do.
